How can you not love a store that practically kidnaps you, stuff you in a rental van covered with fake, magnetic bullet holes, and gives you the underground tour of Seattle. ... Okay, I wasn’t quite kidnapped - and they even gave me one of the commemorative T-shirts they’d had made for the even (lovingly stored in my not-to-be-worn souvenir bin).
That was a few years ago, and we’ve all gotten older and calmed down. This most recent visit to the Seattle Mystery Bookshop promoting the new novel, Nuclear Jellyfish, was simply populated by fine folks who filled the place and wanted to know about complex murder methods. So I think there’s a lesson to be learned here. I don’t know what it is, let alone learned it, but I think you see what I’m trying to say: If I didn’t have so much twisted material to base these books in Florida, they’d have a comfortable home in Seattle – and I wouldn’t even have to leave the store.
Unless they kidnapped me again.
It was great to meet Tim at this event. My son Ian was just *thrilled* to get to talk to Mr. Dorsey about Serge's methods :-)

Sounds like that was really fun, I'll have to check that book out too.
