Seattle Mystery Bookshop is the place to be for telling lies and talking books. I convinced, almost, a number of customers that I broke my arm falling off an elephant in Nepal. Under pressure, I revealed that it was really in a scrimmage with Colombian drug dealers. Or maybe it was that car chase where the Rambler rolled... Never mind. My beautiful blue and purple cast speaks for itself.
If the autographed copies show a slightly shaky signature, that's why. Come and get your very own Did Not Survive, my second zoo-dunnit, and learn lots more about zoos, elephants, and clouded leopards, and maybe pick up yet another tale of how a peaceful home-body author can break an arm. You be glad you stopped by this Seattle treasure. Oh, and don't be put off by the current parking hassle. Take the 15 or 18 bus or light rail or find a lot.
