We inherited a nice bookcase from a company that was moving out of the building. Too nice to turn down, so the question was where would it fit? We finally decided that it'd work well in the award's corner.
So the next question is where to put the old shelf that used to have the Edgars?
We'd ended up with much of the true crime strewn across the front of the check-out counter so we put the old Edgar shelf where a couple of little shelves had been and that allows us to gather the recent espionage histories, art heist books and newer historical true crime books in one place. All in all, better display and makes more sense.
We hope you'll like what we've done and it'll allow you to see the books better and - he he he - see something you might like to buy.
That's us, ulterior motives, all the time. But, really, what can you expect out of people who make their living selling books about crime?
