Sunny in Seattle, but it's drooling...

  I always love signing at Seattle Mystery Bookstore because they are infested with dogs. This time it was "Bounder," a hundred-plus pound brindle Great Dane.  As a relapsed veterinarian, it's always great to sneak in an impromptu physical exam.  Plus all the drool.  Not too many attendees drool when you meet them (okay there have been a few), so that's always great!  Also it's nice  to sit in their well-padded chair and be able to chat casually with people about everything from the latest Sigma book to the secrets behind Indiana Jones...even about the weather.  FYI, it's SUNNY in Seattle...who woulda guessed!
