So it all started when Ryan Gattis's wife, Marisa, told us we had his book on our shelves.....
Ryan shyly admitted that yes he was an author ans he'd written All Involved.
He was completely unaware of how excited Fran and Amber are when they meet new authors! So after we gobsmacked him with enthusiasm, he admitted he has a new book coming out in August called Safe. So we tried to convince him that he needed to come back in August for a signing!
We thought that we'd have to wait until July to hear from him again.....
But he met with his editor last night and received an advanced reader copy of Safe and he remembered us!
So here is the picture of the author, Marisa and his new book (of which he gave us a copy - we're the only bookshop right now to have one)!
